25 Random Things!

So I've gotten a bunch of these on Facebook and since I haven't posted on here in a really long time I'd thought this would be a good way to get started again.... So here a 25 random things you may not know about me :)


1. I really, really LOVE to sing… but I’m so terrible that it’s become the running joke in our family! But it doesn’t stop me from singing at the top of my lungs anyway!!

2. My absolutely favorite place to be is at my family’s lake house on Inks Lake!

3. Some day I would love to live in Colorado!! I have loved living in Texas, but come on people, it’s not the only place in the world!

4. I do not like living in San Angelo, Tx. I have fallen in love with my friends here, my church and chi alpha though and those things have gotten me through the last 3 ½ years!!!

5. My favorite flower is the sunflower… they are so bright and cheery and they make me smile!

6. I love black and white pictures!

7. Cooking is one of my favorite hobbies… but I don’t do it very often because I don’t like to cook for just me. I have a huge collection of recipes and love surfing the web for new ones!

8. I’m addicted to White Chocolate Mocha’s from Starbucks… hot or iced.

9. I hate putting gas in my car. It’s my least favorite errand… lame, I know, but I really don’t like to do it.

10. I love working with kids and am super excited about being a teacher!

11. I love road trips and going to new places!

12. My family means the world to me!

13. I love visiting wineries and vineyards with my best friend Anissa when we’re both home!

14. One of my favorite things to do is eat dinner at home and then go out for just dessert!

15. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday!

16. I love to go camping… if you haven’t been- go! My friends and I have had some VERY interesting trips but at least you get a good story out of it!

17. I don’t like to swim in swimming pools- I prefer lakes or hot tubs.

18. I like to run- it keeps me from getting too stressed out and helps me unwind from the day.

19. My favorite fairytale is Peter Pan and I love all the different movies too… Peter Pan, Hook, Finding Neverland (one of my all time favorites)!

20. I love all the Jane Austen books/movies- Pride and Prejudice, Emma, Sense and Sensibility, Persuasion, Northanger Abby, Mansfield Park- and sometimes I wish I had lived in those times.

21. My favorite colors are all shades of blue and green!

22. I love going to sporting events!

23. I love going to the mall with my sister Emily and trying on dresses for fun :) Its one of our favorite things to do when I go home to visit!

24. I always have chapstick with me!

25. I could probably go to Hobby Lobby everyday just to walk around and look at stuff!
