A Quick Update

So much has happened since I last blogged so I'll try to do a quick update but it's late and I'm tired so there probably won't be many details. Here goes...

Friday, August 7 I moved into my new apartment. It's cute, I like it. But it is taking some getting used to. On one hand, I'm lonely. I miss my old roomies and friends and my family. On the other hand, I'm loving having my own place and my own stuff. Almost 2 weeks later though, the walls are still bare and there are zero decorations up because.....

I've been working in my room like a crazy person! All of my time... and money... has been spent on getting ready for 5 year olds to walk into my room on Monday! It is coming along great- the room is all set up and I feel pretty good about it. There are a few small things that need to be completed still but overall, I'm ready for the kids :)

The past week and a half have been full of fun training and orientation and that finishes up on Friday. This Thursday is "Meet the Teacher Night." I'm thinking a new outfit is in order for that?!?!

Lastly... it't Tuesday night and I just got back to Killeen from a quick trip to Marble Falls to... pick up my new car! Yes, it finally happened. After months and months and months and months of back and forth between my dad and just about every Hyundai dealer in the state of Texas- he went and picked up my car this morning and I went to get it as soon as I was done at school! It's beautiful and I absolutely love it! I'm thinking road trip sometime soon- I'll drive- any takers?!

So- lots of big stuff happening in my life right now. There are so many emotions I can't even begin to describe in the blog (you'd be reading forever) but overall, I'm loving it. It's exhausting and at times a bit overwhelming but I know my Father in Heaven is still in control and He's got me where He wants me :)
